IMO, a turbo setup is much better, NOS is temporary, a turbo is constant and you dont have a turbo bottle to refill...

Re: 92 sc2 turbo or nitro

Nitrous tends to be a little worse for wear as well. I'm considering a turbo or possibly a super setup on my,91 SC but want to go obdII first. Possibly even a hybrid PCM, modified Honda (rs232 obd2 interface) module. Seems like there is substantial power that can be had with a little more granular control over the fuel mappings and the sensor thresholds. How much do you plan to build up the motor beforehand? N2O does seem to fancy breaking hard to reach shit and creating expensive noises.

Good I love a new challenge. But after more thought. I am looking at using a RS/6000 box running RTLinux. I know it sounds a little nuts, but It's the kinda project I live for

ya know i think i am going with the nitrous set up it is cheaper not that much work and from what i can tell faster than turbo anyway. all the posts of speeds with saturns running nitrous are faster than the ones running turbo or superchargers. hell i might run nitrous and supercharge my saturn. i am thinking of putting a throttle switch in with it. and if i blow my engine apart which i doubt i will i have 2 more dohc engines sitting around so i think i will be fine.

bottles are for poor mofos who dont have the cash or the time to for turbo the bottle seems to be as good if not better than turbo. the whole spooling thing pisses me off. i have had friends go to the track and bring back better times with nitrous than with turbo. if you know what you are doing the nitrous will do just fine.
