second gear problem
Second gear is grinding when i try to shift out of first at a high rpm[anything higher than 4 and a half]. If u shift out of first at a low rpm it is smooth. Everyother gear is smooth to. Is my transmision shot. Any other ideas what it could be.

How much is it to replace and is it a painful job

The part is only like $80 at kormex, however, some tranny shops wont do the work because they don't want to warranty it. So just search around until you find someone who will swap individual synchros. If you do a search or PM youngvr4 you will get plenty of information.
