!dual climate control on an 01'base imp!

I've always wondered did the dual climate control on 02' and newer impalas work on the 00 & 01. YES they do. I went to a junk yard and got a a/c control switch out of an 04' impala for 50 bucks and installed it myself. all the plugs fit correctly. next up is an ss gauge cluster.

It plugs in but the dual zone doesnt really work just one side (I did it to).....

what does he mean it works then? it doesnt really heat or cool just one side? I wanted to put that in mine if possible.

unfortunately u can't change temperatures on each side.

You have to change the air box under the dash.........
And off the subject i already put ss dash in my 3.4 and it works fine except the oil preassure guage but i can live with it like that cause the dummy light still works.

right on. I could definately live without oil pressure. I can't find ss gauge cluster in a junkyard (obviously), I priced a monte ss cluster for 189$(new). how much did your impala ss cluster run you.

I found it a a local junk yard i paid 30 bucks...
