A/C wont kick in just in time for summer ...
last year my 92 civic lx had no problem with the a/c and was pretty cold. the other day as i was sweating my ass off in traffic i tried to turn it on for the first time this year and no cold air came out. i could usually tell when it was on and feel it drain power from the engine but now it doesnt do that making me believe its not really running. any ideas why it would just stop working over the winter? thanks

could have picked up some road debris and it went through the condensor. or an electrical problem. See if both fans come on when the a/c is on.

yep, you may need to re-charge the system, if there isnt enough pressure in the lines, the AC Condenser wont kick on. But who needs AC?? take it all out and drive naked on the hots days.... thats what i plan on doing....
