Unhappy 94 searching idle

hi , i got a problem

When i start my car and the car is kind of cold ... it's okay the rpm goes up to 200 - 2500 and slowly go down to 900 - 1000
But when the car is warmed up , when i start the car the rpm go to 1500- 2000 and drop to 500- 600 and give a little boost ... go to 1500 - 200 and drop again. And this infinite time until I shift to R or D. The spark plug , wires , pcv valve , air filter , gas filter are new from 1 month ... my father thing that it's something about the vacuum
Does someone have any ideas ???? Thanks a lot

Re: 94 searching idle

if your check engine light is on then get a code reader. they are about $45. the garage will charge up to $250 to do the same test.

I had the same problem and after I used my code reader it told be that my HEPO was sending a week signal. The sensor is the one sliped in before the cat. It has a heated wire in it for emissions and air feul ratio. The heated wire wears out faster then the one on the GT. (Cause the Gt has a different style of sensor due to a lack of a cat.) The heated wire is there cause it will work faster then waiting for your car to warm up the sensor.

But make sure this is the problem cause its not a cheep sensor. And I would not recomend using one froma scrap yard either. They have a tendancy to rust over the years when not used.
