Couple of Questiions
I have 1996 grand am gt. its 4 cylinder 2.4... When I bough my grand am the fog lights didnt work one of them even have water in it... well after wrecking it and breaking one of the fog lights off completely should I go to a junk yard and get for lights off another grand am or should I order some after market ones out of a magazine since they didnt work to begin with? And what might be causing them not to work?
Also what are some some what easy upgrades I could do for a few more horsepower for the grand am? I never see any parts for a grand am in any catalogs and dont know where to look. |

Re: Couple of Questiions
Well, if ya thinking of a boneyard replace, test the light before purchase. Sometimes, the seal [factory] opens up, why you see the water. Some silicone sealer usually handles that prob. [seal at the bulb connector that turns onto the lens housing]
Easy check to see why not working, unplug the factory bulb harness, and probe it witha voltmeter, light switch on to see for voltage run. Early FL connects have habit of corroding due to their exposure to elements. Re the performance stuff, try a search within AF forum, lots of perform. ideas have been posted. |
