1g spyders

I thought I would get a good thread going. I figure this was prolly posted up before and all but one I saw Dre's targa top 2g, I started to do a search. I came up wit the original concept of the 1g.



my opinion I don't like this too much. The two humps behind the seats remind me of the original bat mobile.And its onlya two seater but we all know DSM's dont have much of a back seat anyway.

Now the second concept I came up was this one.



My opinion I like this one a lot better. It would all look better wit dark interior and dark top so it matches better but I would like that spyder better.

The targa top 1g is pretty nice also.



I like this the most. I think it looks better on a 1g then the 2g but thats me. Lets hear what everyone has to say.

I also found one that some one made there DSM into a spyder.


And what about T-Tops? Who doesnt love some T-Tops?

Bored weren't you? Looking at them...I can see why they never really went into effect. The 2g looked alot better of course. Import conv. looked a little funny back then. Or as compared to the 2g and 3g. they are still cool tho.

the talon and targa look super nice. I'm not a fan of the first it does remind me of the batmobile. Kudos to the guy who made the purple "spyder" that's leet. I hope it doesn't leak much on him ^^..

What I want is a hard top for my spyder.. The old MG Midgets and triumphs had these. My spyder sits outside in the winter and being able to place a hard top on it would be nice. On a truumph you would take the rag top off then this would snap into it's same place. So basically it would be shaped the same just not made of fabric. Seems like a good idea to me. I just don't know how to get the back of it to work. The front could be designed exactly like the front of the convertible frame is now latches and all...

The removable hard top thing is cool. My friends dad has one on his boxter.
