CD skipping on 2002 T/A

I purchased a 2002 Trans Am last summer with only
8750 miles on it. I like the sound quality of the Monsoon
Sound system, however the CD player will sometimes skip.
It is especially bad on 'homemade' CD's, but will do it on
store bought CD's as well. Anyone else have this problem, and if so,
was there anything that could be done to correct it?

Mine does it.
Open headers doesn't help.

I always take out the CD, and put it back in. Works fine after that.
