Question Rearview Mirror!

The rearview mirror in my '98 GP GT is all messed up. At first everything started looking all wavy in the mirror (and no I do not drink or do drugs!). It looks like liquid has settled 3/4 of the way up inside the mirror, and the night time button doesn't change anything anymore. Is the rearview mirror a part that I can purchase at the dealer? Expensive? Can I install it myself? If so, how do I get the old one out and put the new one in?

If your talking self dimming;
Samething happened in my 1998 GTP. Found out that you leave them turn off when you are not using them. Living in Florida, I bought a sun screen for the wind sheild. The wire around it over heated the mirror. The inside of the mirror POURED out of it. Called dealer. They wanted over $100.00 for it. Bought one on Ebay for $35.00. Still works.
Changed the one on my GTX. I have left it off, never had any troubles. I turn it on at night to cut down on the head lights behind me.

Good luck

I had the same problem.Bought the auto dimming mirror for $ 20.00 from E-bay(the guy had five thats why so cheap). The one i bought had 7 pins but my wiring to the mirror had 3 wires. Took me some time to figure the connections but works perfect now.
I would say you check e-bay.
