If you can, pull the plastic shroud around the cigarette lighter and make sure it's plugged in and that the terminals aren't backwards.

The cigarette lighter had worked, I got the van new, and it quit working. That is why we had replaced the fuse.

Any other suggestions?
Thanks

Try plugging in some accessory to make sure you are getting power into it. If the accessory works, you may just need a new lighter element. If not you have a wiring problem. Maybe just a bad ground or a wire pulled off the lighter chassis.

I guess I'll have to take it in since accessory items are not working on either location, the front or the rear.
thanks for your help

There is an accessory relay for the cigarette and accessory outlets. Get the owners manual out and check it out.
