need help with intake air temp sensor

I bought a mod chip after i saw what it did to my buddy's 3000 GT and his is 300, it requires it t be hooked up to the intake air temp sensor
(IAT). does anyone know where that it? cause i thought for sure it was the on right on the air intake but now that i look at it i dont think that plug or sensor does anything?

Re: need help with intake air temp sensor

what model celica do u have? the chip aint gonna do much. i put one on my celica and the first time it made it slower so i kept putting it on and off and finally i got a small result(like .2 seconds off my 0-60 time. relly all u got to do is buy a cheap ass resistor , it is all those chips are anyways. if ur celica is a 90-93 it should beon the air box right beside where the hose connects to the box.
