Error codes

My son just had the tranny rebuilt on his 1994 Sable and the repair center told him that he still had an eror code #564 fan control check fault and a 172 EGO system Fault. Can anyone tell me what these faults mean or where I can find out (besides from mercury) what these codes mean.

Any help?
