passat won't hold charge

My 1992 passat won't hold a charge. The altinator and the battery have been replaced and both work fine. Can anyone help?

Conect an ammeter between the positive battery terminal & cable (disconnected). Anything over 250 miliamps will draw down a battery over a few days. Stat pulling fuses to track down the draw.
