Re: Great News

im taking the time to introduce you to your friends the comma, period and exclamation point.

Periods are used at the end of sentances to show the completion of a thought while Comma is used to seperate two relating articles such as:

This is cool, i am off the hook for the accident.

Now the exclamation is used to accent a bland sentence with a bit more life, such as shouting, and here is an example:

Time to pick up that CRX with a GSR motor in it!

Now i would be weary of using capitals for each word as only nouns and the first word of each sentence is capitalized.

Thank you and have a better grammer day!

Couldn't resist. That's cool about the accident though, and the GSRex.

he may just be off the hook. many states including my own have adopted laws that say that if you have no insurance, the first 10,000 of damage, even if the accident wasn't your fault, comes out of your own pocket.

i'm sure the amount varies from state to state, but the fact remains that anywhere that it's mandatory to have insurance, you are NOT supposed to be driving in the first place if you don't have it. can't afford local rates? get you some progressive or geico or something cheap until you can. i understand, having lived in new orleans for years how bad insurance rates can be. we had some of the worst in the nation. living in mississippi is a godsend, though. i'm STILL only paying half of what i was before, and now i own a crx (sports car) where as before i owned a light pickup (insurance was $30 cheaper on the pickup than the crx though the vehicles were worth about the same amount at time of purchase)

also, i agree with the second guy in this thread. i really can't understand what the original thread says. from what people are saying it soudns like the accident was your fault but the person you hit didn't have insurance, but from what YOU say, it sounds like you're being sarcastic and saying "oh great, lucky me, this person had no insurance, so i get no money for this accident. but HEY lucky me for real! i found a nice cheap car!" or something.
