bumper blinker light
when i installed my body kit on my 95 cavalier i found that there were blinkers inthe stock bumpers and i cant figure out how to wire passed them i rarely have wring problems. so as of rihgt now i have the light under the fender and at night you can see the light under the fender its kinda neat but i dont like it its one of the only ghetto mods on my car please help me.

You might try replacing each bulb socket with a resistor matched to the bulbs specs. To find the resistance of the needed resistor do the following math.
R=V/I Where R is the resistance needed. V is the voltage of the circuit. I is the current normally used by the circuit under active load. Use a good quality ceramic resistor for longevity and heat dissipation. You should be able to fool the system into thinking the bulb is still functioning normally, and the wire assy can be hidden or moved to a less visible spot. Make sure the whole assy is weatherproofed very well. |
