Gear install....

...Is complete in my '89 hatchback. i went from a stock 2.73 to a 3.73, and the difference is night and day. after doing my break-in cruises, i took my roommate for a ride and stomped on it some. soooooooo much fun. next in line? a little baby bottle to get me into the 12s!

What do you suspect you are running now? Ive smoked a lot of mildly built stangs and other cars and i took mine to the track and ran a 14.7 as my best. It was a little bit of wheel spin but not even a half a seconds worth. I also took out a supercharged integra which ran a 16.6 which was pretty funny in my eyes cause he spent more on his supercharger alone than my whole engine- (including purchase!)

i'm expecting mid-13s on stock-replacement tires, low 13s on slicks when my driveshaft loop and wheelstuds are installed. the car ran 14 flat all day long before the gear on a stock motor and stock t-5 trans, with a few induction, ignition, and exhaust mods. today, i got the p/s brackets for a non-ac 5.0, which i'll install tomorrow.
