Question Hey guys, can you help with an S10 that stalls out going down the road?

My son-in-law has a 2000 S10, that when driving will stall out. It will not start again most of the time until a few minutes later. Sometimes it will start after a few false starts. He has no codes showing, has replaced the fuel filter, checked everything that he knows to check and can't figure this out. Sometimes, he will shut it off, and in a couple of minutes try to start, and it won't. I sure would appreciate some input. Oh yes, it is the one that has the engine that will take any kind of fuel. He checked on getting a new fuel pump, but it was real expensive. Thanks, Laurel

Does the security light come on when this happens?
