The horn on my 2000 stopped working. However the alarm is still functioning but it sounds more like a very weak VW horn. Has anyone ever had this problem? Is this an easy to replace?

Re: Horn Stopped working.
Usually happens to people that play in mud/water. The horn is easy to replace. You can buy the exact same horn at most any auto parts store, it's a Fiamm model.

The one problem is the way it's mounted..It's facing down and like Brent said if you do any playing in water/mud it'll get inside and ruin the horn..I've been thru many horns already. So I decided to try something with the new one. What I did was put a piece of cheese cloth over the opening allowing water to still drain out yet keeping the mud out and so far it's worked.

Re: Horn Stopped working.
The alarm horn is separate from your driving one. I tossed mine and bought a loud air-horn.
