There are quite alot of things you need to do. First off you need to disconnect the negative terminal on the battery. Then you remove the steering wheel (if thats necessery or not i dont know but I think so since the instrument panel is abit bulky). Then you slacken and remove the 2 retaining screws thats located infront of the instrument panel topside. Then you withdraw the panel. After that you lift up the retaining clips the disconnect the wiring connectors and remove the instrument panel from the car.

To put it back you just do the things I said earlier but in reverse order, making sure that the bulbs are securely held in position by the retaining clips.

*I take no responsibility for this, this is how I did it and I dont know if that is the right way so dont hold me responsible if anything goes wrong*

Yea, ionizer has summed it up in a nutshell, but it's still a fairly complicated process. I recommend you get the Bentley service manual. It's extremely important to disconnect the negative battery cable, since you have to remove the airbag first in order to remove the steering wheel . . . once you get hit with an airbag, you're never quite the same again! And make sure you replace the bulbs with the same wattage, or you'll fry the instrument cluster.

Excellent, Sky . . . good to know. I was always under the impression that there wasn't enough room without taking the steering wheel off.
