ayour gonna think i'm insane

I have a 1986 Mazda B2000, i got into an accident where I rearended someone. Since my temp gauge doesn't work I never noticed that the engine was overheating and cracked the head in several places. I bought a 87 B2200 engine for $60 and after an hour and 45 min I got it in. I could never get it to run right. I finally pulled the head off and found some things wrong with it. When I put it back together it burnt about 1L of oil per km. I rebuilt the bottom end and a month later oil flow stopped going to the head and siezed the cam destroying the head, a piston and 3 exhaust valves and 2 intake valves. I'm starting to get ticked off and guess what........ I have a 350 small block chevy and tranny from a 76 Monte Carlo. You see where I'm going with this. I'll keep you posted until than though cya

Re: ayour gonna think i'm insane

Lots of fabrication work. I plan to rebuild my 89 2.6L so that it starts. Get my confidence up in mechanical matters, to pull it out, and put in a GM V8 or GM Diesel. I don't know if I want to go crate, or used. But basically I want a mud bogger, with dana 60's, Lockers, Solid Front Axle, Coil Overs, Automatic Transmission. This will be my project for the year.
