looks like a waste of money as far as quality is concerned

it would be cool to get ahold of those sleves and put some better subs in them. Find a small amp to push them!! it would prolly be a clean sound but you may want to put some tweaters up frond to make up for the mids and highs lost in just having subs in the rear

They just look like mids to me. You may as well just get some 6.5" mid-bass speakers instead and push them with a small amp.
