where can i get a chrome valve cover. Is this a custom job?

Did you want a chrome Dipped finish, or a polished finish that looks chrome. The dip would add weight since your actually dipping the whole valve cover in chrome, the polished is basically sanding and polishing the original aluminum valve cover till it has a polished "chrome'' looking finish... You can usually find someone that would do that type of job at any motorsport garage, sometimes you can even ask regular mechanic, and they could tell you where you could go...

The weight you add to a chrome valve cover is minute, your only adding a couple of 0.001"s of material. A zippo lighter would be heavier than the coating.
