Urgent question!!
on a 99 f-150, 4.2l, would the check engine light come on after disconnecting the tps, and if so, what fault code would it produce?
also, by disconnecting the coolant temp sensor, map sensor, O2 sensor, air temp sensor, knock sensor, and vehicle speed sensor at separate times, how long would it take to set a code, would the check engine light come on, and what code would it set for each? thanks alot to anyone that can answer my questions. |

Try here.
http://www.troublecodes.net/Ford/eec-vobd2.shtml You will either need a scanner to erase the trouble code and turn off the light, or a few drive cycles without a problem will cure it. You can disconnect the battery and turn out light, but it may retain the troublre codes.
