1998 Windstar 3.8 Engine Swap w/V6 from 2001 Mustang?
I have a low mile 2001 3.8 V6 from a Mustang what kind of problems will I run into trying to put it in a 1998 Windstar with a 3.8. Do I just have to switch intakes and oil pan? Is 3.8 a 3.8 no matter where I pull it from? Please help!

The mustang engine when placed in the windstar would have the starter in the place that the tranny would be in, so you cannot use it for the windstar. Ford produces 2 3.8 engine blocks-1 for front wheel drive and 1 for rear wheel drive.
