I (my wife's) have a 2002 Rodeo LS (4wd auto trans) that I bought brand new. Within the last week or 2 I have noticed some trany fluid leaking, I think from the transfer case. It has about 38k miles on it. Is it probably just a seal? Has anyone else had a similar leak this early on? After reading all of the posts I think I am going to have the fluid changed just to be safe. Any info would be great. I hate 4wd's! Too many extra parts to go bad!

check the above link for the most common place. Also, since you are the 1st owner you are covered for 10yr/120k against leaks. Take it to Isuzu and they will fix it for free.

Get the leak addressed ASAP as running low on ATF will cook a 4L30E in short order. Keep us posted on the cause/outcome!
G/luck Joel
