Rock music sound (edit of title)

I have a fender squier 15 amplifier.
Does anyone know how to set it so it sounds like the rock ones, for example in the song vertigo by U2.

please help me.

Re: why? how?

Does it have an overdrive/distortion/fuzz/whatever setting on it? itll be a little button on the front with a knob or two that work with it. Alternately you could go buy effects pedals, they're better, but more expensive than just using the amp you have. As far as actually making it sound like that song, I can't help you, just play around with it.

You'll need one of these: http://www.musiciansfriend.com/srs7/...ntent/cb/index

Most of the products have sample sounds on the websites, just pick one you like
