Lift Kits - Rants and Raves

I've got a 98 2dr Tahoe that I want to lift, but I am not sure about which lift kit to put on. I am considering a 2 1/2 inch from Rancho or Superlift, but will most likely go with a 4" lift from Tuff Country or Superlift. I am not very well educated on what makes a good lift and what lift kits a particularly good on Chevy's with IFS. Any help? Also, if you know the maximum backspacing for the lift your talking about that would be great. I wanna go ahead and mount some 33" Bridgestone AT Revo's on some AR Diamond Back wheels with 4.5" backspacing, but I dont wanna end up deciding on a kit that requires a backspacing of less than 4.5". Any pictures you've got and want to share are welcome!

Thanks!!

Go with the Rancho... Stay away from the Tuff country, Rough country or Skyjacker...Procomp, RCD, Dick Cepek are also some good lifts.
