Wheels and tires..........

Has anybody replaced the stock wheels and tires. If so does the car handle better, like at high speeds, in the wind ect. I would like to get a wider tire and get more rubber on the road.

Thanks

I replaced the stocksteel rims with stock alloy rims. The car handles fine with the stock rims, minimal wind problems on interstate from semis passing or when following same. Tire pressure should be at 30psi as per door post sticker, higher pressures will cause problems with wind, etc.Noticed little sidewind deflection when driving in high winds, have 5 door Aveo.
