cylinder heads reversable ?

can i take one from the left side of the motor, flip it around and use it on the right side ?

reson im asking is because im going to a big junkyard tomorrow, to find a new one, and i might grab 2 just incase.

thanks....

also, i think my cat is pretty much shot, if i run it strait to my muffler ( Cherry Bomb Turbo) will it hurt the motor at all ?

Thanks,
Chris

yes. i believe you can put the heads on either way.im not positive though.I had a early 80's 350 and i know the heads were interchangable. as for the cat...only issue there is emissions. wont hurt a thing.(on the vehicle anyways.)

Re: cylinder heads reversable ?

The heads can be used on either side. You may have to move the temp sensor to the correct side to hook it up.
