Sub/Amp Choice Help

I found some subs online that im getting, but the rms watts is 2000 and it says it has 5000 watts, i cant find any cheap way to power those subs. The only amp that pushes 2000 watts is 600+ dollars. Could I just use 2 1000 watt amps to power the one sub?

There isn't going to be a cheap way to put out that kind of power...for 2000 watts minimum, you're gonna need to get a good amp.

Re: Sub/Amp Choice Help

What actually are your subs? Give me a model number or something. You could get 2 of these and link them together.
