I Have A 93 Bonneville With Supercharger. Whenever I Am Stop Sometimes It Will Make Like A Rattle Noise Or Knocking Noise, It Is A Hard Noise To Describe. A Couple Of People Have Told Me It Is The Bearings In The Supercharger. So Can You Put Bearings In A Superchargers Or Do You Have To Buy A Whole New Supercharger. How Much Is It To Take It To A Shop And Have The Bearings Replaced If You Can.
Thanks In Advance. |

Re: Supercharger Problem
The bearings may be worn but the coupler is what is making the noise. They are relatively cheap to purchase and you can replace it yourself with some hand tools and an afternoon. Try zzperformance.com for a coupler and additional information.
