Valve job on 1995 Taurus, 3.8 L w/blown head gasket

1995 Taurus, 3.8 L needs to fix a blown head gasket. Has 100K miles and I got it cheap. I drove it home (about 20 miles) with white smoke and all. I have read the aftermarket books and think I can do this. I have done valve jobs before and have the tools. Is this tricky and what do I need to watch out for. I have never done one with injectors. I will take the heads to a machine shop. Any advice?

Have the machine shop check the heads for warpness on the head gasket surface. You do not want to do it twice, basically, the head gaskets will not seal very well with warped heads. If they are warped, have them mill the heads straight
