Question BugDeflectors

Are they worth it? They say it protects your hood from being hit by small debris while driving thus minimizing hood scratches.
Any1 has one on thier van? Any comment or opinions will do.
Thanks!

Re: BugDeflectors

I have a deflector on my 98 and agree with Jayeli. Really no scratches on the hood and it stays relatively bug free in the summer months. Of course they all get plastered on the windshield.

One thing to keep an eye on is stuff that falls down behind the guard. On mine at least, it has a tendency to collect small leaves, grime, seeds, etc and just sit there. Probably not the best thing for the paint job.

Yes!
I bought one from the dealer that sits a little higher and nothing gets caught underneath it.Take a look at some vehicles without them and you'll see the damage the little pebbles and stones make on the front of the hood.
