Hard shifting 96
My 96 Passport with auto shifts VERY hard, especially in and out of the lower gears. I had a tech check it here in Hungary, and he said it didn't seem to be hurting it any. That was over a year ago. There is no vibration at any speed, and no fluid leaks. I changed the fluid with no improvement. What do you think?? Thanks.

Re: Hard shifting 96
It could be low fluid (but your recently changed so maybe not) also it could be due to a bad electrical connection. make sure you go through the grounds (from the battery to the body, alt bracket and so on) and clean them up good.
Isuzu do funny things with weak batteries, and charging systems (alt).
