Broken Wire leading to sensor
I have a broken wire that has become disconnected to a sensor on the engine of my 97 C/K. This sensor is located near the spark plugs on the drivers side. Can anybody tell me what this sensor does?

Re: Broken Wire leading to sensor
I could be wrong, but I believe this is the
knock sensor. |

Re: Broken Wire leading to sensor
If it is, I think it adjusts your timing
temporarily when knock detected |

Re: Broken Wire leading to sensor
The knock sensor is in the block not the heads. If the sensor is in the head between the spark plugs, then it is the temp sensor for the gauge.
