MX3 to MX6 ECU SWAP?????

I was talking to a guy on ebay the other evening bout the mx3 and the possibilities of finding a company that sell the pre written chips for the ecu. He said that there isn't any out there for mx3 thought there is for the mx6, and that you can fit and run the mx3 on the mx6 ecu without re-writing it and it will run better??

Sounds a bit funny to me, but still can't find a chip for the mx3.
Is this MX6 ECU upgrade realistic or possible???
Anyone any ideas??

Re: MX3 to MX6 ECU SWAP?????

maybe.. although i've never heard of it. The VRIS points would be off, and I dont see how it would really benefit the MX3 really. Again, its possible but Im sure someone would have tried this by now and would be a common mod.

Im guessing you have the 1.8L V6 right?

Yea, minus the language I agree with Drftk1d... Get a MegaSquirt standalone system is you are going to do anything.

If you dont know what a standalone is, http://www.google.ca the world is at your fingertips
