Hello Group,
I have an operations question on a '95 GP. I was checking over the Sister-in-Law's GP. When I went to open the hood, the area there was hot to the touch--more so than I thought usual. So, restarted the engine and observed only the driver's side electric cooling fan running. Is this normal? I would think if one is running, then both should be? The wiring is buried into a large bundle and Haynes says nothing about this--other than how to test the motor. I took it out and it runs --so the fan is not the issue. The engine was definitely at operating temp at the time. Thanks for any thoughts. John R |

either the fan only turns on when the ac is on... or it turns on when the engine starts to overheat.

The AC was on and there are 2 cooling fans. One fan was running --one was not.
