03 G Caravan

Need some help. My 03 GC just died as I was going down the road. The engine light came on, and stayed on. I have dash lights but the van will not even turn over. No power to starter. I tried to move the relays, didn't help. Any ideas on what could have happened. The PS fluid was low, but everything else was fine. Any advise would be appreciated, DJBates

Re: 03 G Caravan

It sounds like either one of the main fuses blew or you have a bad ground. The starter should have power regardless of the rest of the vehicle. If the wiring to the starter is loose then the remainder of the vehilce will not have power. Check all connections especially the ground wire to the engine, also look at the main fuse in the power control center under the hood. If it blew you will not have power. You may also want to check the connections to the battery but since this vehicle is only 2 years old I doubt that is the problem but anything can happen.
