VR6 oil filter..
2000 jetta glx 2.8l v6... I was doing the oil change on it yesterday and I was looking for the oil filter and couldnt find it.. and as a joke to my friend I said "watch it be inside the engine" and the clouds opened up and god said "I hate you danny"
so I was wondering if anyone knew just how to get to the oil filter? you gotta take off the oil pan or something? |

No... the oil filter is on the front of the engine. Its a "cartridge" style oil filter and you have to take off the 36mm cap and get hosed w/ oil. Its a bog black cap facing down.
