racers killed

well I know 2 kids that learned there lesson the hard way!
both charged with vehical manslaughter among others fleeing the scene, reckless indangerment, speeding. two kids racing on the highway weiving in an out of traffic when a lady in her explorer changed lanes on her way home to her family, got clipped by one and flipped over and killed her. both tried to run but some people just followed them with there cell phones talking to the cops. till they had enough to get them.
sad that a lady minding her own business had to die, because of 2 dumbass's wanted to race. hope a couple of you guys learn from this,
your not invincible in your car and neither are people around you.
its one thing to race at lights with noone around but on a busy highway or street is just plain stupid. take it to the track if you want to prove how fast you are. I don't have anything bad to say about street racers but use some common sense.

not to sound like a rude dick, but thank you captain obvious, please don't confuse us for those two dumb idiots. unlike those people, we actually have self control and common sense and have no need to show off to our friends by doing stupid things. the only hours i would ever even consider racing is waaaay past rush hour when traffic has died down for a while on a highway that i am super familiar with. i would never race on a road that i've never been to before, or haven't been too enough, you will never know when a blind sharp turn will come, or when a hugh bump will come. so yes i am fully aware of my cars capabilities, i know its limits, and i am scared shitless of the rain ( even if i'm not racing )

Your post did come off pretty harsh in the beginning, but you saved it in the end by saying use common sense.

It's one thing when one of the regulars posts a story like that, but when someone else posts it's like they just came here to tell us how stupid we are.

Go to a street race gathering, and look at the people that are there. Then come back, and check out our posts. There is a huge difference between us, and the majority of people (retards) that streeet race.

Re: racers killed

i hate stupid threads like this. Even more so the idiots who post them thinking they are telling us something we dont know. Even further more, it pisses me off more that people always bitch about street racing as being dangerous beyond beliefe. Your a fucking moron if you think the biggest danger on the road is street racers. More people die each year from drunk drivers. Id be willing to be bet theres a TON more people on this thread who are guilty of drinking and driving than who are guilty of racing. The numbers show street racing is one the least causes of deadly crashes on the US highways. But everyone makes a huge deal out of it because it "looks" dangerous. Id rather be on a road full of street racers than drunks. I know enough people killed by drunk drivers, but its funny, i dont know a single person killed because of street racing.

stupid to you not stupid to the kids and husband that lost there mother and wife.and read the post I said I don't have a problem with street racers just some kids are stupid when they race or try to race. those are the ones giving street racers a bad rap.
Your right Drunk driveing is the most stupid thing anyone can do.
I posted this to maybe make some kids think before they race.
I never said that street raceing is the most dangerous thing on the street either. I see alot of street racers late at night running on the highways no big deal to me I like to open my car up too. plus where I am there is no tracks local, so what are people with fast cars to do.
all I am saying is use your head when you race.

Re: racers killed

Street racing isn't bad.

Street racing using common sense is bad. I street race myself, but not often. Anyone that weaves in and out of traffic and shit is a complete dumbass.

Re: racers killed

Guys, I don't think this topic is worth debating. We all know the possible results of our actions. Every month another few of these threads gets posted and the same arguments ensue...so in light of the fact that we all know that going fast + crashing into something hard = pain and destruction...how about we all just drop this. Nothing new is coming of this thread, so while it is sad that people died, I think the point has been made and we can move on.
