With a "Nawzed" VH45DETT under the hood (of anything), I'd assume that YOU have it. :smoker2:

I got the idea for my sig looking at an old Honda motorcycle ad. It was really funny with this guy and girl sitting on their girlie Honda bikes, while the rest of the country (back then, anyway) is on Harleys. Funny stuff.
So now it's a VH45DER? Still very nice. I'm afraid the baddest ride is probably going to be a 1000+ horsepower GT-R. And they exist. Not exactly sleepers, mind you, but awesome cars. Keep working on it, though.

1000 hp skylines, yep that's my goal to beat one...........
we have a street legal one on street tyres doing mid 9 that's producting about 950hp my engine is producting 790hp w/out NOS, but it's only in my 200sx, plus my car is about 300kg's lighter @ 970 kg's, oh yeah I forgot it's also road legal.......... so that's what I am working with............ now where's that NOS kit, geez I don't know if I really want to fit it now..

What country are you in? I know there are street legal Skylines in Japan pushing 1000. That's not our front wheel 200SX is it? You'll never get any traction. Most people don't go over 300 hp in a street car if they don't plan to race. And as much as I like my FWDs, I don't intend to race any of them (except between the stoplights).
How big is your NOZzle? I still think it's dumb how they size them in horsepower. I mean, some cars might actually get the specified amount of power, but a friend of mine's RX-7 turbo got about 80 hp from a "50 hp" shot. Not that he was too upset about it... VROOOOMThat must be some blower. What type is it and what else have you done to your engine? You must've changed out some internals to get those numbers!

Yeah it's in the 200sx, which was never EVER made FWD, geez I'm not that stoopid!!!!!!!!!!!!!]
But I am a Nissan Freak all my cars have been Nissan........... I live in New Zealand........ My brother in law and myself race Z32 300zx's, I have been racing them since I was 16, man I love Nissan's............. Anyway the S12 200SX, was alright standard being non-turbo, CA20ES ie 8-Valve, 8 sparkplugs, injected and have a 2" bigbore and a massive intake rebuild it was outputting 172hp @ the rear wheel's, which by today's standards is nothing, but when a RX-7 took the front off, it and damaged the engine, I had basically some money to burn, so looked at my options, well the SR20DET is in my country worth about $10,000($4,500 US), and then I saw it the VH45DE at only $1,400($600), I just couldn't turn it down man, so with the money I had left I set about rebuilding the VH45DE, At first I wanted Twin Turbo setup, and being on limited money, I had to start using second hand parts, which turn out really cool, except the internals(ie custom built, but being in the industry that was alot cheaper than expected), the Turbo costed $500 each(22B), but when one desided to blown I reverted back to what I know best, the Vortech range of superchargers, now with the engine setup with a Twin Turbo manifold, and having no Air con or powersteering, I used the intercoolers and pluming, to install twin superchargers(one blowing each bank), and with the superchargers built for a slightly larger engine, it gave me a little play with the boost, basically the only problem I have is heat, but watercooling is hopefully going to fix that............. so that why I got a VH45DE in my Rear wheel drive 200SX........ and hopefully I will break the 10 second barrier..

Let me set the record straight here. My Pulsar is by no means the fastest or fanciest ride... in my neighborhood even. The engine is on its last limb, and the transmission just dumped 2 quarts of gear oil on the driveway. I can put new seals on the transmission in a heartbeat, but the engine is another story. I seem to have time for everyone else's cars but not my own, and I really don't want to rebuild the E16 now that its pretty much doomed to an NA existence (oil starvation-1, turbocharger-0). I'll try to convince my friend that his new turbo is still not good enough for his *chuckle* 4-door Civic, and he needs to sell it to me. But I would much rather put that money into the JDM CA18DET I'm planning on importing. That is the current state of my Pulsar. Now, let's go back in time, about 1 1/2 years...
That's the new Mustang GT? It's alright in a straight line, but wait 'till we get to that curve... Celica GTS? S for SLOW? Thanks to an abundance of curvy roads and a shortage of balls on the part of other drivers, I wasted quite a few wannabees with my ever-faithful Pulsar NX. And while I pushed her a bit, I always felt like the punishment was going to the car in the other lane. I can't begin to count the number of Honda drivers who though their double wishbones guaranteed they could out-maneuver me. Ford made a makeshift test track to display the then new Focus ZX3's amazing handling in the gargantuan parking lot of the Birmingham Race Course. I followed the Focus' tracks with ease. I didn't think I could like FWD this much, but the car taught me to. Plenty of pushrod monstrosities could match - and often kill - me in the 1/4 mile (not that I dragged more than about twice). That cocky NSX driver did get the best of me on Derby Parkway. But you know what? I didn't build the engine to its limits, I didn't even get adjustable shocks and sway bars; I just used common sense and put together a fun, reliable car that got 28 MPG and could liquefy Civics whenever necessary. I enjoyed hearing people refer to the little white missile with the funny tail lights. And while I was always annoyed at having to clear out the junk in the backseat, it really is amazing how often my friends insisted on squeezing themselves back there for a fast ride on the interstate with the top off. If the definition of a great ride is something that more than pays for itself in fun, then I guess I had a great ride. It's too bad that she's been so neglected of late (and too bad I have no time or money left for her), but I will always look back with fond memories when I see that Pulsar sitting in the driveway. Right now, a lot more money gets invested in the XR-7. It'll have to hold me over for now...

Holyterror, man that's your car is the Beast, and your proud of it, man I like that, I used to race my friend who had a 83' Nissan Langley(Pulsar) Turbo, geez that was his first car, he was 6 year's older than me(another sisters boyfriend, I have 4 older sisters), and he was the one who showed me how to drive, and got me hooked on Nissans when I was 13 - 15. but when I got my first car (A 71' 240z), We used to have races up Auckland from where I lived Mt Maunganui, New Zealand, it was about 200Km race, just going hard in the Nissan single over head Cam, he was the quicker off the mark, but top end speed and handling was all mine, anyway after his turbo blew, he was looking at new cars first was a Civic Si, it was quick, but had problems with the electrics, because when we where racing his car just stopped I looked to see what was happening only to have a stinky little Dihastuu(sp) pull out in front on a two lane motorway, at night with no other cars on the road, and I swerved and.............. all I remember was the Dihas(whatever) running into the median wall, and my car rolling, I don't know what happened later, but I was standing next to my car and my friend's truck, getting lifted on the back of it..................No cops, that was the most out of it part I don't remember cops, and my friends said they didn't ring the cop's until I had left the scene..................![]() Basically He got his langley back, and installed a CA18DET w/ 260hp, 12.9second passes, he was king until I got my second car, the SUPERBEAST, a 1980 280zx turbo 2 seater w/ Targa tops, and after spending about $15,000USD on the whole car($9,000USD on the engine using the contact list to maunfacture parts for it), I had a car that could do 10.4 second passes, 545hp @ the rear wheel, No NOS, about 700 + with NOS, but that was a track car over drag, although having 335/30RZ 18 rubber on the back was cool, but turn out to be to costly if I dropped the clutch to much, and the shit I pulled with that car, like I took on a Lambogini Diablo VT once way back in 98', the alpine promo car, just the fact of having a Gertrag 6 speed, and just annilating the Diablo down the Highway, the look on the guy face when I over took him, ![]() I long for those times again...................... ![]() Man I hope you get a FD-RX-7, if not got for the infini III S3 RX-7, thats the shit, 212 hp, 1190kg's, sweet times.................. oh I think you already own one, well a RX-7....... CA31_JR, what your Cefiro got, RB20DE or RB25DE, or even the torqueey RB20E, nothing wrong with it, man gee I'll like one but I have a 300zx and this baby the 200sx(450sxs now), but I was thinking along the lines of installing a VH41DE in to one what you think about that...... ABOVE ALL NISSAN'S ROCKKKKKK.......... HolyTerror you just the Man, Cheer's dude, keep it evil........... :sun: :smoka:

My rides: GTi-R: SR20DET currently decorating the garage floor. soon it will have T3/04E, front mount and fuelling mods as well as exhaust and filter etc. SSS ATTESA LTD Bluebird: CA18DET with skyline/RX7 hybrid T3, VR4 front mount and exhaust/filter. This is such a sleeper it takes out mildly worked GTS-T's, VR4's, Legacies and so on. No one expects it from a Bluebird. (currently for sale). Laurel: RD28. Enough said. Not the meanest rides on the street but still cool. |
