99 replacement engine
hi kinda new to the site but i was wondering if anyone knows where to find a refurbished engine in canada (besides gm) or even a decently priced crate engine. if anyone can help.

GM's prices are pretty good, and their warrantee is outstanding. After the trouble you've had, why do you want to tempt fate?
After reading your post about your failure, keep in mind they may not accept your old one for a core, since the casting sounds like it was damaged. If it was me, I'd go GM, or find a low-mile total in the boneyard.

the first block wont get a core charge the other two the blocks are still good, and are you kidding gm price is 4k thats almost as much as i payed for the car, i payed 900 for the two crap engines i got out of the wreckers, im trying to find a refurb from like edelbrock or sumthin they sem to about $1500
