My headlight is out... thinking about getting other bulbs, hids or something?

I dont know much about lightbulbs really, so dont know which would be a good upgrade... since one went out im thinking ill buy a pair of some hids on ebay and save some money or something. I dont want anything blue or anything that cops might trip over, but brighter than my previous would be nice, mine looked yellowish, i like that bright white, but not highbeams bright haha.

Also my corner lights on the fender are really dim at night any suggestions on that? i put some bulbs in there that i had laying around, but i want them to be bright too... they look like the battery is dead on my car or something, just sad looking

like i said i dont know nothing about bulbs, so maybe someone can advice me here to get a nice set for the headlights and he side fender markers thanks!

I cant remember exactly what my uncle bought for his 02' vette but he just went to like checker auto and got a pair of allstars or something like that i cant remember but those were pretty cheap and they looked pretty damn good if your interested

I have those type of lights for my car but i got the more of a blue tint to them but u can get silverstars like super white that look nice with out any tint to them just white.

HIDs will cost 800-1000$, any less and it's a cheap knock-off. Like zacremacle said, get some Silverstars, they are very bright and cheap and won't melt your headlights like the HIDs would.

Those all look like cheap-ass crap, but since the price is so low, might as well try one of them and see what happens. btw, you do know those aren't HIDs, right?

how come they all say HIDs tho? Xenon HIDs and i know they are heck cheap, but i want something brighter than stock and not have that yellow look to them at night... and i honestly dont feel like spending more than $20 on a pair as i was going to leave my headlights how they were till one burned out.

So im saying maybe someone tried one of these cheap repo ones and they are actually brighter than stock and white light at night then maybe they can suggest which... i wont buy a set till maybe tomorrow because i want to see if anyone installed the cheap ones and liked em

most of those end up pretty blue but its worth a try. real HID's need new wires and fuses and whatever thats why they it ends up so expensive.

They will be brighter, no doubt, I think you should order a set and try them out, but they are HID look-a-like, real HIDs need a ballast and will melt the plastic headlight housing, also they would be a few hundred $$.

i bought silverstars for my old eclipse at the local autozone for a few bucks and they were much brighter for pretty cheap, i would just do that

hey whats up, i have the second site light bulbs, that are sold by pitt crew, halo. those are pretty good light bulbs, they are definetly brighter, but they are a little more blue. I actually got the housing as well that they sell. the dimond cut one they sell. I like them.
