fuse location

Hi,
Out of nowwhere the rearview mirror compass/temp display in my 03 VUE went dead. Of course,my first impression is that the fuse blew. I'm not seeing any other circuits dead..checked my owner's manual and cannot find the mirror specifically mentioned in the fuse location directory. Can anyone tell me where the fuse is located for the autodimming rearview mirror in my vehicle. Thanks.

Re: fuse location

I don't know of any fuse for it. But recently after I installed a trailer hitch and light kit, I ran into problems with the mirror/temp/compass going on and off eractically and my sunroof stuttering when opening and closing. I doubled checked my system and all was grounded fine (according to the 2003 manual p282), but still had the problem. Once I removed the hitch wires from the equation everything went back to normal. Good luck.
