Re: Re: Dynamic Racing Staged upgrades?

The Z06 is a faster car. The new ones will be tough for even a modified VR4. Anyway I am thinking the listed hp numbers are to the crank. You can learn a lot about DR and there upgrades over on 3si probably. A lot of those guys deal with DR and Matt Monet.

Re: Dynamic Racing Staged upgrades?

the g-force upgrade advances timing 5* and raises the rev limit to whatever you want.

as far as it being faster than the vette, it was about the same speed as a vette, but not the z06, hell the c5's werent even out yet.

Re: Re: Dynamic Racing Staged upgrades?

I just wonder how long DR has been offering that upgrade? If it hasnt been that long then that would explain the name. Of course the c5's werent out when 3s's came out. LOL

Re: Re: Dynamic Racing Staged upgrades?

Well the Z06 has been out since 01 model year. Maybe it was out before that but they renamed it once the z06 came out. Who knows really. It just matters if you get the power.

Re: Dynamic Racing Staged upgrades?

i raced a 2003 zo6 and got him to 120mph and after that he started to catch up and then he was fender infront of me, but my 1/4 is at 102mph, so if i race a Z06 in a 1/4, i will beat the shit OUT OF IT!!! (i raced him OFF THE LINE, NOT OFF THE ROLL)

Re: Dynamic Racing Staged upgrades?

z06 stats
Acceleration: 0-30 mph: 2.09 sec., 0-60 mph: 4.58 sec., 1/4-mile: 12.53 sec. @ 115.38 mph

so what exactly are you beating the shit out of with your 13 second? 1/4 mile at 102?

And no Im not saying you did beat the z06 you raced. What Im saying is dont expect to get the same results with other z06's

Re: Re: Dynamic Racing Staged upgrades?

I was going to say something but thought I would leave it alone. I am betting it wasnt a Z06 you beat and just a plain ole C5 Vette. Even at that the plain C5's are pretty fast.

Oh yeah 102 MPH traps is nothing to brag about. I know someone who has launching issues in his VR4 and traps 104 but only runs high 13's at the very best.

Re: Dynamic Racing Staged upgrades?

i wasent braggin about 102, i was saying that when i raced him to 120mph, the 1/4 was already over because my car dose a 1/4 at 102mph. the other thing he could not get any good traction, AWD VS. RWD!!! I was in my 4th gear when he started catch up.

Re: Dynamic Racing Staged upgrades?

Hate to say it, but it sounds like you beat the driver, not the car. z06s should consistently beat vr4s. With your listed mods, you should be closer to them, but they still should have the slight advantage in the 1/4 and definantly the clear advantage after 100mph.

Your 1996 Mitsubishi 3000GT VR-4 is the 92nd out of the 315 that were made that year. Only 21 of which are exactly identical.
