99 Rav4 shuts down while driving

I have a 99 Rav and it has recently started to shut down on me while driving. It starts up again but i do not need this happening. It has 77,000 miles on it and thus far it has been a good car. Does anybody have a clue as to what it may be ???? Help!

Hey, mine too! I have a 1997 RAV4. What are your symptoms? My RAV behaves as if gas is being denied to the plugs. It cuts out, jerks, and then will run fine for a couple of minutes. This just started happening after 103,000 miles. PLEASE let me know if you hear anything and I will do the same.

My 97 Rav4 did something similar,didnt die completely so my mechanic changed the fuel filter.Problem never came back.
