Why try sometimes?

OK this one I am not posting cause i'm proud of I feel like I wasted gas and shamed myself by giving in but hadda do it.

I'm driving maJX come to a light look over see a lowered neon 4 door looks new on steelies *no caps even* uggly one fart can cock eyed sitting and banged up.

I am about 2 feet in front of him at the light so I look back and see his windshield decal big letters S-R-T *thats all with the hypens too lol* so I wonder I know there is a light modded srt and the dude is a jerk off ricer maybe hes gone sleeper.

I give the jeep a lil roar and he replys with a nice bee can buzz sounds like a stock non turbo to me but too late lights green mashing the gas my 4L roars to life summing up her flat powerband. I just keep pulling till I give up at about 50 MPH.

He doesn't even catch up to ricer fly by that was nice of him. How polite.

Cliff notes:
come up to light to possible SRT sleeper
turns out to be a ricer
my old truck smokes him like a hooker on a crack pipe.

Uhhh dude...SRT-4's have a dual exhaust and no muffler and a hood scoop. It's not exactly difficult to tell an SRT-4 from a ricer.

I'm quite aware but as I said I have heard this kid with a real SRT 4 was trying to make his a sleeper.

Changing the body parts and exhaust wouldn't be too hard

Re: Why try sometimes?

always good to kill ricers... but ya as 93rollaracer said its easy to tell the difference. I doubt somebody that bought a srt-4 went to the trouble of making it look like a sleeper.. and they definetly wouldnt have changed the exhaust.

Re: Why try sometimes?

hell...if somebody really wanted to, couldn't they just buy a regular neon and drop a SRT4 motor in it?? lol that would be SOO much easier...besides the suspension work...even then...it would still be easier...
