Its about time i post some more drawings

Havent really had much time to go on the site lately.. but heres some drawings of some cars that were made out of boredom in study hall, and sometimes in class. For those of you who dont remember/know me, im 15, and the only tool i use is a pencil. And notebook paper as you can see. Im going to number them so you can comment on each induvidual if needed..

1.) Heres a GTO that i drew.. and most of the time i mess up on the rear wheels.. its just something i do.

2.) I thought this one was cool.. but its too long.. o well

3.) I like to do some cars my own way.. as in the next 2 pics. this one started out as a neon in the rear and i just did my own stuff and just had fun with shading.. even if it doesnt make sense.

4.) This one started out as a tiburon but the grill and headlights r a lil different.. along with the wheels, side skirts, and i dont know what else... The passenger seat isnt in.. because im bad with interior like that. But I'd say this is one of my best.

5.) Then i figured i'd throw this in.. its my best side view.. done in probably september or october, when i didnt know how to do angle views.

Those are good, some are a little out of porportion and some are a little worse. Good nonetheless. The GTO looks great, the rear wheel might be a bit to small tho.

It's just the wheelbase. It's too long. Otherwise they are great!

And your drawings are worth to be drawn on serious paper! Free them. They look like they were behind a cage.

"...They look like they were behind a cage." LOL.

those are good, dude. get a model now. any car. but best to get a die cast of a car you like.

look carefully at it. draw it. sketch it. use it as a reference. pay attention to door seams, particularly on 4 door cars. get a 4 door model. and 2 door. see how the doors are different and how they look in perspective.

hold the model up and look at it. turn it with your hand. look very carefully at how it looks turned. you will solve your "too long wheelbase" problem by using a model. you must do this and take it seriously. otherwise, you will always be guessing at it, and you will continue to draw cars out of proportion.

you CAN draw cars from your imagination, freehand. but do it with skill next time, armed with an understanding of what exists in reality first. then you can make up your own rules.

go get a couple models now. have fun with that.

Yeah... definitely work on your perspective, and stop drawing on lined paper.
