1990 grand am 2.5

are there any perfomance parts out there for it if so where im seriously thinking about going with a 289 t-5 and a ford 8.8 rearend but thats a load of work any help

The 2.5 isn't really a performance engine... so there is avery little out there for it. You could port and polish it which will add the performance... The engine is more of a workhorse engine. If you want, do a search on Iron Duke, That;s the name of the eninge. you may find a few things on it. Your better bet is to get a 2.0 turbo, or a quad 4 engine swap, u'll have more options and power this way.

not really trying to get a race engine just more power
