Hi to all AF Members-
Thanks for welcoming me here, too- I got a problem with my 1993 Pontiac TransSport 3.1L, actually regarding its front A/C blower control; this does not go to maximum(HI). If selected, it will trip right away. So, I am using it only up to MED fan. I'll greatly appreciate anyone who can help me repair this problem. Thanks & regards, White Zorro |

Re: Front A/C BLower Control Malfunctioning
When you say TRIP, you mean is comes on only for a little while?..THe Hgh Speed is switched ON through the High Speed Relay and there is no in line breaker on the power side..just a fusible link that would not come back or reset....
www.avigex.ca/xport/heaterrelay.jpg Circuit here: www.avigex.ca/xport/hvac_diagram_front.jpg So check for a new relay, most probably, or first move the relay in the socket just for a check.

I noticed that there's a relay controlling the blower fan speed. Before, it used to trip my blower fan while I was moving. I checked it & found that its contact was burned. I replaced it and became ok. Now, this problem occurred and I don't know where to find the burnt relay socket/adaptor. This could be the cause of failing 'Hi' blower fan. Any idea where can I get this relay socket? >Cheers, |
